ARTIST STATEMENT
'I approach my drawing and painting as if it was my only passion on earth (naturally I have family, friends, 2 little dogs and other interests, but expression through art has been with me my whole life).I first started painting in oils at age 11yrs. I first sold paintings at age 14. I paint about things that I love. I just find some things evocative and I want to tell a story visually. Each of my separate series span a divide of concepts and themes, even painterly approaches, as I love the unique qualities and effects of watercolours, oils, acrylics and also mixed media.I have enjoyed combining science and art in the development of specific outdoor substrates and approaches.'
