Sure, this is a part of an abstract series, but many can discern the underwater inspiration from the motifs, even if the colours are as surreal as they are harmonious. My one week experience of diving on ocean reefs was truly a surreal experience (not sure if I was hypoxic or if my artist’s imagination was tripping) but this sub-series of my ocean inspired artworks is the flow-on effect of those memories.
